Assignment of police officers

§ 92. Assignment of police officers. The police commissioner of the\ncity shall from time to time assign such officers as the appellate\ndivision of the supreme court having jurisdiction may certify are\nnecessary for the service of warrants, and when so assigned such\nofficers shall be subject to the direction and control of the judges of\nthe court, subject always to the rules and discipline of the police\ndepartment.\n
