Federal voting; applicability of general provisions

§ 11-220. Federal voting; applicability of general provisions. The\ngeneral provisions of this chapter shall apply to this article, except\nas they are inconsistent herewith. The provisions of this article shall\nbe liberally construed for the purpose of providing special federal\nvoters the opportunity to vote. The state board of elections shall have\npower to adopt and promulgate regulations to effectuate the provisions\nof this article.\n
