Approval of completed water withdrawal systems

§ 15-1529. Approval of completed water withdrawal systems.\n The construction of any new or modified water withdrawal system\nauthorized under this title shall be under the general supervision of a\nperson or firm licensed to practice professional engineering in the\nstate. Upon completion of construction, such person or firm shall\ncertify to the department that the water withdrawal system has been\nfully completed in accordance with the approved engineering report,\nplans and specifications, and the permit issued by the department\npursuant to this title. The owner shall not commence operation of the\nnew or modified water withdrawal system prior to the department\nreceiving such certificate and prior to approval of the system by the\ndepartment of health or its designee as may be required by the state\nsanitary code.\n
