§ 27-2607. Retailer requirements.\n 1. At the location of sale of covered electronic equipment, a retailer\nshall provide purchasers of covered electronic equipment with\ninformation, if any, about opportunities for the return of electronic\nwaste that has been provided to the retailer by a manufacturer.\n 2. Beginning April first, two thousand eleven, no retailer shall sell\nor offer for sale in the state any covered electronic equipment unless\nthe manufacturer and the manufacturer's brands are registered with the\ndepartment pursuant to section 27-2605 of this title. If the retailer\npurchased covered electronic equipment from a manufacturer who fails to\nregister by January first, two thousand eleven, or prior to the date the\nmanufacturer withdrew its registration or the registration was revoked\nby the department, the retailer may continue to sell the covered\nelectronic equipment for one hundred eighty days after April first, two\nthousand eleven, or the date the registration was withdrawn or revoked.\n
