§ 71-0201. General law enforcement authority.\n Every police officer and any employee of the department as may be\ndesignated by the commissioner, shall enforce the provisions of this\nchapter, and the rules, and regulations and orders enacted or\npromulgated thereunder. Such officers shall be authorized to issue an\nappearance ticket or, in lieu thereof, a uniform appearance ticket or,\nin lieu thereof, a uniform appearance ticket and simplified information\nas provided in section 71-0203, for any violation of this chapter or\nrule, regulation or order adopted thereunder. Law enforcement officers\nof the Fish and Wildlife Service of the United States Department of the\nInterior or the National Marine Fisheries Service of the United States\nDepartment of Commerce may enforce the provisions of articles 11 and 13\nof this chapter and shall be authorized to issue an appearance ticket\nor, in lieu thereof, a uniform appearance ticket and simplified\ninformation as provided in section 71-0203, for any violation of article\n11, article 13 or rule, regulation or order adopted pursuant to such\narticle.\n
