Northern emergency management assistance compact

§ 29-k. Northern emergency management assistance compact.\nNotwithstanding any other law, the state, through the governor, may\nenter the northern emergency management assistance compact (P.L.\n112-282, ratified by Congress on January fourteenth, two thousand\nthirteen). Such compact shall be deemed ratified by the legislature upon\nthe governor's certification to the temporary president of the senate,\nthe speaker of the assembly, and the secretary of state, that New York\nhas entered into the compact.\n
