§ 504-b. Transport and warrant units. The division is authorized to\nestablish transport and warrant units and designate employees to be\nassigned to such units. Such units shall have the powers and\nresponsibilities specified in regulations promulgated by the division,\nincluding but not limited to the conveyance of youth placed with or\ncommitted to the custody of the division to and from its facilities.\nEmployees of such unit who are specifically designated by the director\nin writing, shall have the power and authority of peace officers in\nrespect thereto.\n
