§ 892. Application of article. 1. The actual or purported transfer or\nassignment of any right or interest in a motor vehicle or under a lease\ncontract, retail installment contract, or security agreement, by an\nindividual who is a party to the original lease contract, retail\ninstallment contract, or security contract is not an act of auto equity\npromotion under this article.\n 2. This article shall not affect the enforceability of any provision\nof any lease contract, retail installment contract, or security\nagreement, by any party thereto.\n
