N.Y. GMU Law § 99-Q

§ 99-q. Facilities for the unified court system. Notwithstanding the\nprovisions of any general, special or local law, charter or ordinance to\nthe contrary, a municipality which is a political subdivision specified\nin paragraph (a) of subdivision two of section thirty-nine of the\njudiciary law may upon the approval of its governing board:\n 1. Sell, convey, lease, exchange or otherwise make available to any\nperson, firm, association, corporation or agency, including a public\nbody, the title to or an interest in real property, and enter into\ncontracts therefor, for the design, construction, reconstruction,\nrehabilitation or improvement of facilities provided or to be provided\nfor the purposes of the unified court system of the state; and\n 2. Acquire by purchase, lease, sublease or other agreement the\nfacilities provided or to be provided for the purposes of the unified\ncourt system of the state.\n All contracts entered into pursuant to the provisions of this section\nshall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred one and one\nhundred three of this chapter.\n
