Compulsive gambling education and treatment program

§ 41.57 Compulsive gambling education and treatment program.\n Notwithstanding any inconsistent provisions of this article and within\namounts made available therefor by appropriation, the commissioner is\nauthorized to develop, expand, operate or cause to be operated\ncompulsive gambling education and treatment programs. The commissioner\nmay employ any consultants deemed necessary to effectuate the purpose of\nthis section and enter into contract with any not-for-profit corporation\nfor provision of appropriate services. On the thirtieth day of January\nafter the effective date of this section and each January thirtieth\nthereafter, the commissioner shall submit to the governor and the\nlegislature a report detailing the implementation of this section and\nmaking recommendations for future development of compulsive gambling\neducation and treatment programs.\n
