N.Y. PAR Law § 7.01

§ 7.01 Park regions. The state shall be divided into twelve park\nregions as follows:\n 1. The first region shall consist of the counties of Erie and Niagara\nand so much of the county of Cattaraugus as is contained between the\npresent boundary line of Cattaraugus and Erie counties and a line\nrunning parallel with such boundary line and two miles south of such\nboundary line.\n 2. The second region shall consist of the counties of Chatauqua,\nAllegany, and Cattaraugus, except such part of Cattaraugus county as is\nincluded in the first park region.\n 3. The third region shall consist of the counties of Orleans, Genesee,\nMonroe, Wyoming and Livingston.\n 4. The fourth region shall consist of the counties of Wayne, Ontario,\nSteuben, Chemung, Schuyler, Yates, Tioga, Tompkins, Seneca and Cayuga,\nexcept the watershed of Skaneateles lake.\n 5. The fifth region shall consist of the counties of Oswego, Onondaga,\nMadison, Cortland, Chenango, Otsego, and Broome, the watershed of\nSkaneateles lake and those portions of the counties of Herkimer, Oneida\nand Delaware lying outside the Adirondack or Catskill parks.\n 6. The sixth region shall consist of the counties of Hamilton and\nEssex and those portions of the counties of Saint Lawrence, Lewis,\nOneida, Clinton, Franklin, Herkimer, Fulton, Ulster, Saratoga, Warren,\nWashington, Greene, Delaware and Sullivan lying within the Adirondack or\nCatskill parks as defined in section 9-0101 of the environmental\nconservation law.\n 7. The seventh region shall consist of the counties of Columbia,\nDutchess, Putnam and Westchester.\n 8. The eighth region shall consist of the counties of Orange and\nRockland and those portions of the counties of Sullivan and Ulster lying\noutside the Catskill park.\n 9. The ninth region shall consist of the counties of Nassau and\nSuffolk.\n 10. The tenth region shall consist of the county of Jefferson and\nthose portions of the counties of Lewis, Clinton, Franklin and Saint\nLawrence lying outside the Adirondack park.\n 11. The eleventh region shall consist of the counties of Albany,\nRensselaer, Schenectady, Schoharie, Montgomery and those portions of the\ncounties of Warren, Washington, Fulton, Saratoga and Greene lying\noutside the Adirondack or Catskill parks.\n 12. The twelfth region shall consist of the counties of Kings, Queens,\nNew York, Bronx and Richmond.\n
