§ 1076. Definitions. As used or referred to in this title, unless a\ndifferent meaning clearly appears from the context,\n 1. The term "authority" shall mean the corporation heretofore created\npursuant to the provisions of chapter eight hundred forty-seven of the\nlaws of nineteen hundred thirty-four and thereafter continued pursuant\nto the provisions of article seven of the county law, and whose\nexistence is continued by section one thousand seventy-seven of this\ntitle;\n 2. The term "municipality" shall mean any county, city, town, village,\ntown water district, fire district, fire protection district, fire alarm\ndistrict, school district, and any other political subdivision of the\nstate;\n 3. The term "bonds" shall mean the bonds issued by the authority,\npursuant to this title.\n 4. The designation board of supervisors shall mean the legislative\nbody of the county of Suffolk.\n
