Limitation on power of the authority

* § 2037. Limitation on power of the authority. Notwithstanding any\nother provision of this title, the authority, on and after the effective\ndate of this section, shall not exercise any of the powers granted\npursuant to subdivisions three, four, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,\nthirteen, fourteen and fifteen of section two thousand eighteen, or\nsection two thousand twenty or two thousand twenty-one of this title,\nwithout approval by resolution of the county legislature; provided,\nhowever, that the authority may continue to exercise such powers granted\npursuant to subdivisions three, four, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,\nthirteen, fourteen and fifteen of section two thousand eighteen of this\ntitle as may be necessary for the routine operation and ordinary\nmaintenance of the properties of the authority unless the county\nlegislature otherwise acts to the contrary within forty-five days of the\nsubmission to the county legislature of a request by the authority for\napproval to exercise any such powers.\n * NB Expired April 1, 1982\n
