§ 2999-bb. Department authority. The department shall promulgate\nregulations to implement this article. Such regulations shall provide\nstandards for determining which proposed collaborations, integrations,\nmergers or acquisitions shall be covered by this article and the manner\nby which the interests set forth in the legislative findings shall be\nadvanced through regulatory oversight. The department shall further be\nauthorized to impose fees as appropriate to facilitate the\nimplementation of this article. This article is not intended to limit\nthe authority of the attorney general of the state of New York.\n
