§ 290. Application of article. 1. This article applies to all\nchurches, congregations, societies, parishes, committees and other local\norganizations governed by jurisdictions, bishoprics, dioceses, missions\nof any Orthodox Patriarchate, Synod or national church of the Orthodox\nGreek Catholic (Eastern Orthodox) Church, recognized by the apostolic\nhistoric Orthodox Patriarchates of Constantinople, Antioch, Moscow and\nSerbia (Jugoslavia), respectively, through their four primary Orthodox\nGreek Catholic jurisdictions in America as specified in subdivisions\nthree and four of section fifteen of this chapter; also to any churches,\nparishes, congregations, societies or committees of the Christian\nOrthodox Catholic Churches of the Eastern Confession which are included\nunder article five-a of said chapter and in general to all churches,\nparishes, congregations, committees or religious organizations founded\nor established with the intent and for the purpose of adhering to and\nmaintaining the apostolic and historic communion, doctrine, discipline,\ncanon law, tradition, worship and unity of the Eastern Confession known\nas the Orthodox Greek Catholic (Eastern Orthodox) Church.\n 2. This article does not apply to the following churches, which are\nautogenic, to wit: American Catholic Church, Old Catholic Church,\nWestern Orthodox Church, Orthodox Old Catholic Church, American Catholic\nOrthodox Church, Apostolic Episcopal Church, Holy Orthodox Church in\nAmerica, American Patriarchal Orthodox Church, African Orthodox Church\nor any other organization, church, society or establishment by whatever\nname, title or description designated, whose names, titles or\ndescriptions allude, relate or refer to the said Orthodox Greek Catholic\n(Eastern Orthodox) Church but which are not recognized or accepted by\nsaid apostolic and historic Orthodox Greek Catholic Patriarchates.\n
