§ 195. Platforms on new cars, how constructed. All street surface\nrailroad passenger cars purchased, built or rebuilt after the first day\nof December, nineteen hundred and four, and operated in the state of New\nYork on and after said date, except those owned by any company operating\neither in the borough of Manhattan or Brooklyn, in the city of New York,\nshall be constructed in accordance with the provisions of the preceding\nsection.\n
