Official statutory text

11-09-08. Board of county commissioners - Election - Term of office - Vacancies

In a county adopting any form of county managership, the board of county commissioners

shall consist of three or five members as is provided by general statute. Members of the board

of county commissioners holding office when any form of county managership goes into effect

shall continue in office until the expiration of their terms. Thereafter, county commissioners shall

be elected in the manner provided by general statute.
