11-28.3-07. Regular meeting to be held - Special meeting

An annual meeting of the electors who reside within the boundaries of a district must be

held in the first quarter of each calendar year. The secretary-treasurer shall give notice of the

annual meeting by one publication in a legal newspaper of general circulation in each county in

which the district is situated. The meeting shall be held not less than seven nor more than

fourteen days after the date of publication of the notice. With proper notice as required under

section 44-04-20, the board of directors may call special meetings as necessary.
