12-48-21. Disposition of unclaimed money

Any money which has been earned by any inmate and credited to his account shall be

transferred to the general fund in the state treasury if such money is not claimed within one year

after the inmate earning it has been released from the penitentiary unless the law makes other

specific provision for its disposition.
