6-07.1-20. Disposition and maintenance of records

On approval by the court, the receiver may dispose of records of the state trust company in

liquidation which are obsolete and unnecessary to continue administration of the receivership

proceeding. Records of a liquidated state trust company are not public records for any purpose

and are exempt from public disclosure. To maintain the records of a liquidated state trust

company after the closing of the receivership proceeding, the receiver may reserve assets of an

estate, deposit them in an account, and use them for maintenance, storage, and disposal of

records in closed receivership estates.
