§ 109.773. Rules governing the attendance of county correctional officers at peace officer training schools

April 4, 2023 Senate Bill 16, Senate Bill 288 - 134th General Assembly The attorney general shall adopt, in accordance with Chapter 119. or pursuant to section 109.74 of the Revised Code, rules authorizing and governing the attendance of county correctional officers at approved peace officer training schools, including the Ohio peace officer training academy, to receive training to qualify them to carry firearms while on duty under section 109.771 of the Revised Code, and the certification of the county correctional officers upon their satisfactory completion of training programs providing that training.
