§ 149.35. Laws prohibiting the destruction of records

September 26, 2003 House Bill 95 - 125th General Assembly If any law prohibits the destruction of records, the director of administrative services, the director's designee, or the boards of trustees of state-supported institutions of higher education shall not order their destruction or other disposition. If any law provides that records shall be kept for a specified period of time, the director of administrative services, the director's designee, or the boards shall not order their destruction or other disposition prior to the expiration of that period.
