§ 173.44. Survey of nursing homes and residential care facilities

September 29, 2005 House Bill 66 - 126th General Assembly (A) As used in this section, "nursing home" and "residential care facility" have the same meanings as in section 3721.01 of the Revised Code. (B) The department of aging may conduct an annual survey of nursing homes and residential care facilities. The survey shall include questions about capacity, occupancy, and private pay charges. The department may contract with an outside entity to conduct the survey and analyze the results. The results of the survey and any analysis completed by the department or its designee shall be made available to the general assembly, other state agencies, nursing home and residential care facility providers, and the general public. (C) No nursing home or residential care facility shall recklessly fail to complete the survey.
