§ 315.33. Fees of engineer

October 27, 1981 Senate Bill 114 - 114th General Assembly County engineers, chainmen, and markers shall receive a fee for services rendered under sections 315.28 to 315.32 of the Revised Code, but the fee shall not exceed the actual cost incurred by the county for labor, equipment, and materials. Witnesses shall receive the same fees and mileage as allowed by section 2335.06 of the Revised Code. All such expenses shall be paid by the persons applying for a survey and depositions, who may recover, from the persons owning the adjoining lands that are benefited by the perpetuation of such testimony, their equal proportion of the expense incurred in obtaining such evidence.
