§ 507.14. Liability for loss of public funds

September 13, 2022 Senate Bill 15 - 134th General Assembly A township fiscal officer or deputy fiscal officer shall not be held liable for a loss of public funds when the township fiscal officer or deputy fiscal officer has performed all official duties required of the township fiscal officer or deputy fiscal officer with reasonable care, but shall be liable only when a loss of public funds results from the township fiscal officer's or deputy fiscal officer's negligence or other wrongful act.
