October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of permanent memorial trustees shall provide for the maintenance of the township memorial building, monument, statue, or memorial and shall always keep the memorial in such condition that it will fulfill the purpose for which it was constructed. The board of permanent memorial trustees may receive donations and bequests to aid in the maintenance of such memorial, and such moneys, together with moneys received from all other sources, shall be placed in a fund to be known as "the township memorial fund," and shall be paid out on vouchers signed by two members of the board of permanent memorial trustees. The board of permanent memorial trustees shall, annually, report a complete statement of all its receipts and disbursements and certify to the board of township trustees the amount of money required for the maintenance of such memorial and the making of any necessary improvements thereto, which amount shall be placed in the budget of the board of township trustees and certified to the budget commission of the county. The board of permanent memorial trustees may permit the occupancy and use of the memorial building or any part thereof, upon such terms as it deems proper.
