§ 705.85. Mayor and department heads shall have seats in council

October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The mayor and the heads of the several departments of a municipal corporation organized under sections 705.71 to 705.86 , inclusive, of the Revised Code, shall have seats in the council of the municipal corporation. The mayor may introduce ordinances and take part in the proceedings and deliberations of council on all questions, and the heads of departments may take part in its proceedings and deliberations on all questions relating to their departments, subject to such rules as the council prescribes. Neither the mayor nor the heads of the several departments shall have the right to vote in the council.
