§ 721.26. Conveyance or exchange of land by municipal corporation to the United States

October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Any municipal corporation may sell, lease, or dedicate any land owned or acquired by it, to the United States for use by the United States public health service, or it may trade or exchange such property for property owned by the United States. Any such sale, lease, dedication, or exchange shall be authorized by ordinance of the legislative authority of such municipal corporation, approved by a two-thirds vote of all members elected thereto. Such ordinance shall authorize the mayor and clerk or other designated official of the municipal corporation to execute and deliver the necessary deed without advertising as required by section 721.03 of the Revised Code.
