§ 755.01. Board of park commissioners - election

July 2, 2010 House Bill 48 - 128th General Assembly When five per cent of the qualified electors of a city petition the board of elections of the county for the privilege of determining by ballot whether there shall be a board of park commissioners, such board shall submit at the next general election held within such city at least ninety days after the petition is filed, or at a special election occurring at least ninety days after the petition is filed, if the petition requests a special election, the questions presented in the petition, to the electors of the city. Such special election shall be held at the usual place for holding municipal elections and shall be governed by the same rules, regulations, and laws as govern the holding of municipal elections.
