§ 759.47. Sale of old approach

September 29, 2011 House Bill 153 - 129th General Assembly Land belonging to a public cemetery and used for an approach thereto, and which is, in the judgment of a majority of the officers having control or management thereof, unnecessary for cemetery purposes, may be sold by them at public sale to the highest bidder after advertisement as provided in section 7.16 of the Revised Code or once a week for five consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation within the county in which the cemetery is situated. The board of township trustees or board of cemetery trustees of a municipal corporation making such sale shall execute in the name of the township or municipal corporation owning such cemetery proper conveyances for the land so sold.
