Adoption dissolution statistics to be published

A. Whenever the Department of Human Services publishes

statistics on successful adoptions, the Department shall also

include statistics on adoption dissolutions, including the average

number of months between the finalization of adoptions and the

effective date of dissolutions.

B. For purposes of this section, "adoption dissolutions" means

adoptions which dissolve after the adoption is finalized and prior

to the time the adopted child reaches eighteen (18) years of age.
