Definitions
Official statutory text
The following words, terms and phrases shall, except where the
context clearly indicates a different meaning have, when used in
this act, the following meanings:
(a) "Person" - Any individual, firm, partnership, corporation,
or other organization;
(b) "Employer" - Any person for whom, under whose direction, or
in whose interest others perform labor or service;
(c) "Sale or sell" - Any sale, contract of sale, offer of sale,
or advertisement thereof;
(d) "Wholesale sale" - A wholesale sale is a sale for the
purpose of resale in the ordinary course of business;
(e) "Retail sale" - Any sale other than a wholesale sale as
herein defined;
(f) "Wholesaler" - A person, a substantial portion of whose
sales are made to retailers for the purpose of resale to consumers;
(g) "Wholesale price" - The price normally paid by a retailer to
a wholesaler for the purpose of resale to consumers at a profit.
