Vietnam Veterans Day

Official statutory text

The third Thursday of March of each year is hereby designated as

"Vietnam Veterans Day", and the Governor is authorized and requested

to:

1. Issue annually a proclamation calling on the citizens of

this state to observe the day with appropriate ceremonies and

activities; and

2. Urge all state agencies, interested organizations, groups,

and individuals to fly the flag of the United States at half-staff

the third Thursday of each March in honor of the veterans who served

in Vietnam, Cambodia, or Laos during the Vietnam Conflict.
