Oklahoma Statutes - Title 36. Insurance Page 330

A. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Oklahoma

Producer Licensing Act".

B. This act governs the qualifications and procedures for the

licensing of insurance producers. It simplifies and organizes

statutory language to improve efficiency, permits the use of new

technology, and reduces costs associated with issuing and renewing

insurance licenses.

C. This act does not apply to excess and surplus lines agents

and brokers licensed, except for Section 13 of this act and except

where specifically referenced in this act.
