Time of expiration of certain policies

Official statutory text

All policies insuring against loss resulting from liability

imposed by law for bodily injury or death suffered by any person

arising out of the ownership, maintenance or use of a motor vehicle,

as defined in Section 3635 of this title, shall expire at 12:01

a.m. Standard Time on the expiration date stated in the policy. This

section shall apply to all such policies on the first policy renewal

date after December 31, 1982.
