Group and blanket accident and health policy provisions

Official statutory text

The provisions of Article 44 (Individual Accident and Health

Insurance) shall not apply to group accident and health or blanket

accident and health insurance policies, but no such policy of group

or blanket accident and health insurance shall contain any provision

relative to notice or proof of loss, or to the time for paying

benefits, or to the time within which suit may be brought on the

policy, which is less favorable to the individuals insured than

would be permitted by the standard provisions required for

individual accident and health insurance policies.
