A. The Commission shall meet at such times and places within
this state as the Commission determines. The members of the
Commission shall annually elect a chairman, vice-chairman, and
secretary from the membership of the Commission. No member of the
Commission shall serve more than two (2) successive terms as
chairman. A majority of the members shall constitute a quorum.

B. The proceedings of all meetings of the Commission shall
comply with the provisions of the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act.
C. The Attorney General shall advise the Commission and
represent it in all legal proceedings or actions resulting from the
exercise of the powers and duties of the Commission pursuant to the
provisions of the Oklahoma Horse Racing Act; however, nothing in
this section shall be construed to prohibit the Commission from
engaging private counsel if they deem it necessary to protect the
integrity of horse racing in Oklahoma.
D. Each member of the Commission shall receive Fifty Dollars
($50.00) for each day spent in the actual discharge of duties for
the Commission. All members of the Commission shall be reimbursed
for expenses incurred in the performance of their duties pursuant to
the provisions of the State Travel Reimbursement Act.

adopted at election held Sept. 21, 1982. Amended by Laws 1983, c.
11, § 5, emerg. eff. March 22, 1983.
