Liability of operators - Jurisdiction - Venue

Official statutory text

Any owner or operator of a well who fails to comply with any

duty imposed by this act shall be liable to the person or persons

aggrieved for all damages suffered as a result thereof, including

any diminution in yield from said land which may arise from

inability to irrigate the same because of or arising out of the

failure to perform such duty. Any person entitled to rights under

the provisions of this act may bring an action or proceeding in the

district court of the county wherein the natural gas well or natural

gas gathering pipeline is situated to protect and enforce any or all

such rights.
