Membership - Compensation

Official statutory text

A. The J.M. Davis Memorial Commission shall be composed of five

(5) members to be appointed by the Governor with the advice and

consent of the Senate for terms of four (4) years.

B. The current members of the Commission shall serve the

remainder of the term for which they were appointed.

C. The members of the Commission shall serve without

compensation but are authorized reimbursement for necessary travel

expenses as provided for state officials and employees under the

State Travel Reimbursement Act on claims approved by the chair of

the Commission.
