Hospitalization and medical care system in the Department

Official statutory text

of Public Welfare.

In the event the Department of Public Welfare, after a thorough

study of the needs, determines that the services provided for in

Section 1 of this act can be more satisfactorily and economically

performed by providing for its own system of hospitalization and

medical care, the Department of Public Welfare is hereby authorized

to establish and maintain such a system within said Department,

under which such services as provided in Section 1 can be offered.
