Responsibility for conduct of assistance programs

Official statutory text

Except as provided in this section, the responsibility for the

conduct of the relocation assistance programs shall be with the

entity authorizing or requiring the relocation. An entity

authorizing or requiring relocation may enter into contracts with

any individual, firm, association or corporation for services in

connection with such programs, or may carry out its functions

pursuant to Section 4 of this act through any federal or state

agency or instrumentality having an established organization for

conducting relocation assistance programs.
