Official statutory text

The leases mentioned in the preceding section shall be executed

only after notice by publication for two (2) weeks in a newspaper of

general circulation in the county in which the land is situated and

a public sale thereof to the highest and best bidder: Provided,

that all leases heretofore executed by the board of county

commissioners, board of town trustees, directors of school districts

or boards of education covering lands under their control are hereby

validated.
