Liability for violation
Official statutory text
In case of the refusal by such corporation or its agents to take
or transport any passenger or property as provided in the preceding
section; or in case of the neglect or refusal of such corporation or
its agents to discharge or deliver passengers or property at the
regularly appointed place, under the laws which regulate common
carriers, such corporation shall pay to the party aggrieved all
damages which shall be sustained thereby with costs of action.
