Right to purchase - Collection of pro rata share of

costs.

The Highway Department shall have right to purchase right-of-way

under the provisions of this act from the fund created hereby, and

at such time as the right-of-way is to be utilized for construction

thereon, the Department shall then proceed to replenish from the

cost of said project the state's proportionate share of the purchase

price paid for said right-of-way, and to collect the pro rata share

required by present law from city or county governments, and any

monies derived from said governments shall accrue to said fund.
