Federal aid secondary highway projects - Consulting

The board of county commissioners of any county shall have authority

to employ consulting engineers to make locations and prepare plans

and specifications on any federal aid secondary highway project on

the county highway system; and the supervision and inspection of any

such project may be done by a consulting engineer, or by an engineer

of the department assigned for such purpose when request therefor is

made to the Department by the board of county commissioners.
