Petty Cash Fund
Official statutory text
There is hereby created a "Petty Cash Fund" for the Oklahoma
Veterans Commission. The balance in the fund shall never exceed the
sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) which may be
expended for the purposes set forth in Section 67.13 of this title,
Oklahoma Statutes - Title 72. Soldiers and Sailors Page 41
when the Oklahoma Veterans Commission shall determine that the
situation of the applicant is so urgent as to require immediate
financial aid. Provided that the "Petty Cash Fund" may be
reimbursed by the State Treasurer upon the filing of the claim
assigned to the "W.V.C. Petty Cash Fund", for the amount disbursed.
The reimbursement shall be made from the "W.V.C. Revolving Fund".
Further provided that if the emergency assistance allowed by this
section be made in the form of a loan to the applicant, the
applicant's repayment of the loan shall be remitted to the State
Treasurer for deposit to the credit of the W.V.C. Revolving Fund in
the State Treasury.
