Purpose

Official statutory text

The purpose of this act is to provide adequate and suitable

space for offices and other necessary uses for all departments and

agencies of the state, particularly the ones now paying or which

hereafter may be required to pay rent, and for the purpose of

increasing the efficiency of the operation of state departments and

agencies, and to eventually cause the State of Oklahoma to receive

all the benefit of the rents now being paid by state departments and

agencies. It shall also be the purpose of this act to provide an

improved and expanded highway infrastructure for the health, safety,

and welfare of the traveling public in this state and for the

continued economic development of this state.
