Citizens' Advisory Committee

Official statutory text

A. There is hereby created a Citizens' Advisory Committee to

the Capitol-Medical Center Improvement and Zoning Commission, the

members of which are selected by the Capitol-Medical Center

Improvement and Zoning Commission pursuant to a procedure

established by the said Commission. Such Committee shall consist of

not less than ten (10) nor more than fifteen (15) members, all of

whom shall reside in the area regulated by the Commission or be

property owners therein.

B. One member of such Committee, selected by vote of the

Committee, shall be recommended to the Governor to serve as one of

the members of the Capitol-Medical Center Improvement and Zoning

Commission. One alternate Committee member, selected by the vote of

the Committee, shall be recommended to serve as a designee of the

gubernatorial appointee to the Commission.

C. The Committee shall serve in an advisory capacity to the

Commission in carrying out the duties imposed on the Commission by

law.
