State Board authorized to organize conservancy districts -

Members of board as directors of districts.
In addition to the powers conferred upon the Conservation Commission
of the State of Oklahoma by Article 5, Chapter 70, Oklahoma Statutes
of 1931, as amended by House Bill Number 84, of the Fifteenth
Legislature, the said Conservation Commission of the State of
Oklahoma is hereby authorized and empowered to determine and map
proposed water conservancy and/or water improvement districts and/or
soil erosion prevention districts and to perfect the organization of
such proposed districts in the manner as hereinafter prescribed. For
the purposes of this act and other Laws in connection therewith, the
members of the Conservation Commission of the State of Oklahoma may
be, by the courts upon which jurisdiction is hereinafter conferred,
Oklahoma Statutes - Title 82. Waters and Water Rights Page 60
appointed directors of the conservancy districts hereafter created
under the authority of this act.
