SECTION 57-1-340. Oath of commissioner.

Each commission member, within thirty days after his appointment and confirmation, or approval by the appropriate legislative delegation, as the case may be, and before entering upon the discharge of the duties of his office, shall take, subscribe, and file with the Secretary of State the oath of office prescribed by the Constitution of the State. Effect of Amendment 2017 Act No. 40, SECTION 22.C, inserted "and confirmation, or approval by the appropriate legislative delegation, as the case may be".
